"It is painful to remember and picture the difficulties Maxx had while recovering. There were days when he barely could leave his stall to have the necessary hosing of his left hind leg. He would drag his leg, then look up begging to stop."

The Tucson sky was beautiful with rich sunset colors on that early August evening at the stable. The gentle sound of music flowed over horses one and all

"Maxx is severely bitten by a rattlesnake. If he lives there is the possibility of the loss of his left hind leg. This is a true story about a young girl who gives him love, care, and music to help him perform again."
